The Union of French Cities (CUF), a member of the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR), of which our Union is a member, has decided to launch a solidarity fund for the regions affected by the earthquake disaster in our country on 6 February 2023. It is envisaged that the solidarity fund to be provided by the CUF will be used for the recovery efforts of local and regional governments and for the flow of humanitarian aid to the region. Through the Union of Municipalities of France, it will provide support to Besni and Gölbaşı Municipalities for the purchase of equipment and goods with a grant budget of approximately 230 thousand Euros.
