Secretary General of the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye Dr. Hayri BARAÇLI and Deputy Secretaries General Dr. Ramazan Özcan YILDIRIM and Halil İbrahim AZAK participated in the VI International Kayes Congress held at Ankara Social Sciences University (ASBU) in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus(TRNC) Campus. Secretary General of Union of Municipalities of Türkiye Dr. Hayri BARAÇLI made a presentation on "Sustainable Food Management" at the Congress. TBB’s delegation visited to Kyrenia in order to view the projects within the framework of the cooperation protocol between the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye and the Union of Turkish Municipalities of Cyprus. In addition, the delegation paid a visit to the Turkish Ambassador to the Republic of Cyprus Metin FEYZIOĞLU and within the scope of the program the delegation visited to Mahmut ÖZÇINAR, President of the Union of Turkish Municipalities of Cyprus, and held consultations on cooperation in local authorities. At the end of the program, the delegation exchanged ideas with the President of the Republic of Cyprus Ersin TATAR on the importance of local authorities and efforts to increase the resilience of our cities.
