Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (UMT) Secretary General Dr. Hayri Baraçlı made a presentation within the scope of "The Role of Railway Systems in Sustainable Urban Transport" at the UK-Turkiye Railway Forum 2023 event held at the British Embassy house on September 25.
Presentations on the rail system services of different municipalities were included in the event, where face-to-face meetings were held with the aim of creating cooperation between the public and private sectors.
Sessions and panels were also held at the event on topics such as "Renewal of the Rail Ecosystem", "Innovations in Rail Maintenance", "Financing of the Railway Infrastructure".
