Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning SUMP Türkiye 1st Online Training Seminar was held on 27 April, where the basic elements of sustainable urban mobility (transport) and planning were discussed.
In the first session of the seminar moderated by SUMP Türkiye Team Leader Dr. Nazan Koçak Rye, presentations were made on topics such as "What is sustainable urban mobility?" and "EU and Turkey Policies and Practices" SUMP Türkiye Training Programme Launch", "EU Sustainable Urban Mobility Policy Framework" and "EU support, incentives and activities for sustainable mobility and planning in Türkiye".
In the afternoon session of the event, the experiences of municipalities in Türkiye and Europe on SUMP were shared and challenges, solutions, targets and opportunities were discussed.
