The sixth of the informative meetings of the Town Twinning Action Between Türkiye and the EU-II: Twinning for a Green Future Grant Scheme, financed by the European Union and of which the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (UMT) is the main beneficiary, was held in Antalya.
The opening speeches of the meeting were made by UMT Deputy Secretary General Halil İbrahim Azak and A. Hakan Atik, Head of Project Implementation Department of the Directorate for EU Affairs.
After the opening speeches, Ali Esener Esenboğa, Project and Finance Unit Expert introduced the grant programme to the participants. After the grant programme presentation, Central Finance and Contracts Unit (CFCU) representative Serhat Bayram explained the application and evaluation process.
Then, a question-and-answer session was held by the representatives of the Central Finance and Contracts Unit, UMT and the Directorate for EU Affairs.
Finally, the Directorate for EU Affairs Specialist Selman Çetin completed the event with a project development workshop.
The next introductory meeting of the Town Twinning-II: Twinning for a Green Future Grant Scheme will be held in Şanlıurfa.
