The fourth of the informative meetings of the Town Twinning Action Between Türkiye and the EU-II: Twinning for a Green Future Grant Scheme, financed by the European Union and of which the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (UMT) is the main beneficiary, was held in Trabzon.
The opening speeches of the meeting were made by UMT Deputy Secretary General Kayhan Özüm and Head of Foreign Relations Department of the General Directorate of Local Authorities, Halil Şener.
After the opening speeches, Tuğçe Özkan, Deputy Director of the Project and Finance Unit introduced the grant programme to the participants. After the grant programme presentation, Central Finance and Contracts Unit (CFCU) representative Serhat Bayram explained the application and evaluation process.
Then, a question-and-answer session was held by the representatives of the Central Finance and Contracts Unit, UMT and the Directorate for EU Affairs.
Finally, the Directorate for EU Affairs Specialist Sinem Bölükbaşı completed the event with a project development workshop.
The next introductory meeting of the Town Twinning-II: Twinning for a Green Future Grant Scheme will be held in Malatya.
