The third of the informative meetings of the Town Twinning Action Between Türkiye and the EU-II: Twinning for a Green Future Grant Scheme, financed by the European Union and of which the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (UMT) is the main beneficiary, was held in İstanbul.
The opening speeches of the meeting were made by UMT Secretary General Birol Ekici.
After the opening speeches, Project and Finance Unit Specialist Azime Dilara Koyuncu introduced the grant programme to the participants. After the grant program presentation, the representatives of the Central Finance and Contracts Unit (CFCU) explained the application and evaluation process.
Then, a question-and-answer session was held by the representatives of the Central Finance and Contracts Unit, UMT and the Directorate for EU Affairs.
The next introductory meeting of the Town Twinning-II: Twinning for a Green Future Grant Scheme will be held in Trabzon.
