The Executive Committee of the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (TBB) issued a written statement regarding the arrest request issued for TBB Deputy President and Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mr. Zeydan Karalar.
The statement noted that the decision has caused "deep concerns" among the public and declared, "As the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye, we respectfully inform the public that, without any political bias, we are committed to safeguarding the legal protections and democratic rights of all our members."
