In cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the "SAVE YOUR FOOD - TAKE CARE OF YOUR TABLE" campaign was launched on May 20, 2020, in order to combat food losses and waste in our country. The active support of our municipalities to the campaign, as the organizations that provide the closest service to the public, will make a significant contribution to both the country's economy and the prevention of food loss worldwide. Our Union organized the "Save Your Food” Project Implementation Competition in order to contribute to this campaign and to raise awareness at the municipal level on the issues highlighted by international organizations and central governments.
