Town Twinning Action Between Türkiye and the EU-II: Twinning for a Green Future Grant Scheme, aims at strengthening sustainable and permanent institutional structures through the projects that will be implemented in the field of climate change and environment between local administrations/authorities in Türkiye and EU Member States, was announced on 10 December 2021.
With a total budget of EUR 2,5 million, the grant scheme provides support for climate change and environment based projects aiming at developing town twinning relationship between local administrations/authorities in Türkiye and EU Member States and strengthening their roles on the EU accession process.
Minimum 60.000 and maximum 100.000 EUR will be granted for the jointly developed projects of municipality, special provincial administration (SPAs), Departments of Investment Monitoring and Coordination (DIMCs) in Türkiye and local authorities in EU Member States.
