TUSELOG Programme is a bilateral cooperation between the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR), the Union of Municipalities of Turkey (UMT) and Swedish and Turkish local authorities. It is financed by Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). The Programme duration was 48 months from 2012 to 2016.
TUSELOG is a follow-up of the Tusenet Project, implemented for four years from October 2006 to October 2010 and extended until March 2011. The Programme is founded on priorities of UMT as outlined in its Strategic Plan 2010-14, as well as discussions and a Logical Framework Approach (LFA) workshop held between SALAR and UMT executive staff, and the membership of both organisations, during the period October 2010 – March 2011.
Turkish-Swedish Partnership for Local Governance (Tuselog) was a cooperation between the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR) and the Union of Municipalities of Turkey (UMT). The purpose is enhanced local governance through the strengthening of UMT's capacity and improved municipal service provision.
